There are numerous strong points to Carris. It has a large and attractive bloom that has a spicy perfume. The rich red colour remains stable as the flower ages. These flowers are displayed in clusters of 1 to 3 blooms. They open to be big, around 10 cms, from plump rounded buds. A strong plant that is covered in mid green, glossy, healthy foliage. A rose to enjoy in any garden. Use in beds, borders, hedges, it is also good as a cut flower in a vase.
