Soak the Roots: Before planting, soak the roots in water for a few hours to hydrate them. If they look a little dry from transit, this will help revive them.
Prepare the Ground: Dig a hole wide enough to comfortably spread out the roots. Mix in well-rotted compost or manure to enrich the soil.
Plant with Care: Position the rose so the graft union, where the stems meet the roots, is just above soil level. Spread the roots out and backfill gently, firming the soil around the plant.
Water Well: Give your new rose a thorough watering to settle the soil and remove any air pockets.
Mulch: Add a layer of mulch around the base to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
