Despite being almost 40 years since it was crowned ‘Rose of the Year’ for 1985, ‘Polar Star’ remains a very popular variety among seasoned gardeners – and it is not difficult to see why.
This is a classic white rose that looks as if it has dropped right out of a fairytale.
High centred pure white petals are produced throughout the warm summer months, and even into the early weeks of autumn.
Lucious and dark green foliage help the showstopping flowerheads stand out even further.
Not just a treat for the eyes, the fragrant blooms of this rose will also delight all those that go near it.
Wonderful when placed in beds and borders, this repeat-flowering rose will look equally as attractive when planted in pots and placed on a patio or balcony.
We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring.
