'Charles de Mills' are historic roses with richly coloured blooms and an intensely strong fragrance - blooming from compact plants, ideal for smaller garden spots.
Each flower is fully double, deeply cupped and layered with countless petals in vivid magenta-purple tones. The blooms are densely packed and occasionally reveal a small green eye at the centre of each.
Flowering once a year in early summer, 'Charles de Mills' forms shrubs of sumptuous colour and perfume, with the mid-green foliage forming a perfect foil for the abundance of blooms.
Compact and reliable, growing to about 1.2m tall, these roses are particularly striking when planted en masse or as low, informal hedges. They are fully hardy, vigorous and easy to grow.
A holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, 'Charles de Mills' are timeless roses for beauty and fragrance.
Supplied as a pair of bare root roses, ready to plant.
