'Ferdinand Pichard' is one of the finest striped roses ever bred - a proven, RHS Award of Garden Merit winner that brings together fragrance, character and spectacle.
Each bloom is soft pink, with petals splashed and streaked in rich crimson, every flower unique. The blooms are lightly double, cup-shaped and full of movement, releasing a strong, classic perfume that drifts beautifully on warm summer evenings.
Growing up to around 1.5 metres tall, these are robust, upright shrubs with real presence. The stems are prickly, the foliage rich green and glossy, and the plant produces repeat flushes of flowers from summer into autumn.
They perform beautifully in mixed borders or as stand-alone specimens, where the colour and form take centre stage. They are also outstanding roses for cutting, with blooms that last well in water and fragrance that fills the home.
Supplied as a pair of bare root roses, ready to plant.
