Introducing a rose that blends story and style! 'Jane Austen's Elizabeth Bennet' brings warm amber and golden colour in cupped blooms, filled with around forty petals for a rich, classic finish. Flowers appear in clusters, creating a fuller look on the plant, then return in repeat flushes through summer and into autumn.
This variety grows with sturdy, bushy structure and plenty of branching. Glossy dark green foliage gives strong contrast to the blooms and keeps the plant looking well dressed across the season.
Elizabeth Bennet is the protagonist from Austen's 1813 novel Pride and Prejudice.
As part of the Jane Austen Collection, this variety celebrates a much-loved literary icon, and when you purchase one, you're helping to protect her legacy. We are proud to donate £2.50 from the sale of each rose to Jane Austen’s House (registered charity no. 1156458), helping to preserve the place where she wrote her most famous works.
Supplied as a freshly potted, established rose in a 4 litre pot, ready to plant.
We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring. Please, make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
