This delightfully special rose performs with as much style and panache as its namesake - the incredibly talented singer Alfie Boe.
The ‘Alife Boe’ rose boasts magnificent canary yellow blooms when in bud, with a rounded shape and a pointed centre, ideal for cutting.
As the weeks pass and the blooms start to open, more and more petals are revealed, showing off a buttery shade of yellow. The petals will start to fade to cream as the flower reaches its final days.
Another head-turning feature of this plant is the perfume, which is certainly not overpowering or too sweet, but mirrors a delightful combination of myrrh and a refreshing soap.
Forming a bushy plant with plenty of well sized bloom in summer and autumn, this an exceptional yellow variety that would be a welcome addition to almost any garden.
