A powerhouse rambler with huge trusses of creamy white, clove-scented flowers in summer. 'Rambling Rector' produces fragrant displays, stretching up to 6m tall. It's vigorous, wildlife-friendly and carries a nostalgic fragrance gardeners never forget.
Each semi-double bloom opens from creamy buds, shows golden stamens, then fades to white. Bees adore it, and birds flock to the red rose hips that follow the flowers. This is the rose to plant when you want height, romance and resilience in one.
Reaching around 6m tall, its strong, thorny, twiggy growth covers walls, fences, arches and mature trees with ease.
The RHS Award of Garden Merit shows this is a dependable, hardy and healthy variety for UK conditions. A light prune after flowering keeps it balanced and ready to flower just as impressively the following summer.
Supplied as a bare root rose, ready to plant.
