An old garden favourite that's been admired for centuries, cherished for its bold stripes, heady fragrance and enduring charm.
'Rosa Mundi' boasts deep rose-pink petals splashed and striped with creamy white, for a display that looks almost painted by hand. When in bloom, it's breathtaking, bringing scent and style to the garden. This variety flowers once each summer, coating foliage with semi-double blooms that release a classic rose perfume.
Compact and bushy, growing to around 90cm tall, it's ideal for smaller spaces, mixed borders or heritage planting schemes. After flowering, clusters of glossy orange-red hips provide valuable food for garden birds and plenty of autumn interest.
As a member of the Old Rose group, 'Rosa Mundi' is hardy, reliable and disease resistant, thriving in full sun with very little fuss. A holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, as a rose of exceptional garden performance and value.
Plus, pollinators adore its open blooms, making it both beautiful and beneficial.
