Mary's Rose is the sort of variety that gardeners fall in love with instantly. The blooms are soft and romantic, opening in a pearly pink that glows in the morning light. It's a colour that brings calm, grace and timeless beauty to any part of the garden.
This is a reliable repeat flowerer, producing flush after flush from June to October. Each flower is a fully double classic rose form, packed with petals that open slowly from neatly pointed buds. The fragrance is gentle, sweet and wonderfully nostalgic, a soft perfume that adds a personal touch to borders and containers alike.
Plus, it's so easy to grow. The plant itself is upright and compact, with healthy, glossy green foliage and a bushy habit. It keeps a tidy shape throughout the season and doesn't demand a lot of fuss to keep it looking its best.
Mary's Rose is particularly well-suited to containers on patios or terraces, where it can be admired up close. But it's just as effective planted en masse in borders or as a thoughtful feature in a commemorative garden. It pairs beautifully with soft lavenders, whites and silvers for a soothing, elegant display.
Supplied as a freshly potted, established rose in a 4 litre pot, ready to be planted out.
We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring. Please, make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
