Few climbing roses capture old-world romance quite like 'Madame Alfred Carrière'. Famous since the Victorian era, this cherished rose has never fallen out of favour. It combines beauty, fragrance, and grace.
Its blooms are large, fully double and creamy white, each gently brushed with blush-pink tones. They open across the plant in generous flushes from early summer to the first frosts. Each petal is soft and velvety, carrying a sweet, fruity scent that drifts through the garden.
The stems are pliable and almost thornless, making it an easy climber to train along a wall, trellis, or pergola. Despite its graceful habit, it's also tough, hardy, and dependable.
