Classic red colour, elegant structure and months of repeat flowering give this standard rose real garden presence.
Patio Standard Rose 'Carmen' takes everything gardeners love about the original variety and lifts it to a higher, more striking level. The head sits proudly above a clear stem, so every deep red bloom is shown off beautifully and enjoyed closer to eye level.
Each flower has a refined, high-pointed form, backed by a delicate spicy fragrance and strong upright growth that helps the plant keep a smart shape. From June to October, it repeats reliably, carrying large blooms that stay handsome on the plant and cut well for the vase.
As a standard rose, it adds instant height and formality, making it especially effective by a doorway, on a terrace or as part of a symmetrical display.
Supplied as a bare root rose, approximately 110 to 115cm tall, with a clear stem and formed head.
