Rose 'de Rescht' is an old Damask rose with wonderful character, combining deep velvety blooms, powerful fragrance and a neat, rounded habit. In this elegant standard form, it has been expertly raised onto a clear stem and finished with a well-formed flowering head.
The blooms are beautifully packed with petals, opening as neat rosettes with a charming button eye at the centre. Their rich purple-crimson colouring creates real impact, while the repeat flowering habit keeps fresh blooms appearing from summer into autumn.
This variety is also treasured for its strong, warm and unmistakably old rose perfume, making it a lovely choice for spots close to paths, patios and entrances where the fragrance can be fully appreciated.
