'Youth Without Limits' is a breathtaking new Harkness Floribunda bush rose, and a rose with a story as compelling as its flowers. Named in the spirit of a generation of young people who are discovering, day by day, exactly what they are capable of, this is a variety bred for beauty, resilience and purpose in equal measure.
The flowers are extraordinary - perfectly rounded and generously full, with each bloom carrying around 40 petals and measuring up to 9cm across.
They emerge in glowing clusters of five to seven per stem, opening in the most beautiful warm shades of golden amber and soft yellow. Then, as the season unfolds, the petals soften gradually to the creamiest ivory, while the outermost petals deepen and warm to a lovely, blushing pink.
A light, but lingering fragrance adds another layer of pleasure. Delicate but distinctive, it carries a subtle spiciness, with notes of cloves and cinnamon.
The foliage is glossy, mid to dark-green, abundantly healthy, and flushed on the youngest leaves with the most appealing tone of fresh red. Disease-resistant and robust, this is a plant that looks after itself, and rewards you accordingly.
Compact and well-proportioned at 75cm tall and 60cm wide, 'Youth Without Limits' is at home in the mixed border, a dedicated rose bed or a generously sized patio container.
