Description

Anthony's Rose is one of those climbing roses that brings real depth and character to the garden. Its flowers are large, filled with petals and show off a glorious mix of colour, rich amber at the centre and soft pinks towards the edges.

This variety has a proper old-fashioned scent, warm and fruity, with hints of spice. It's strong, without being overpowering, and hangs in the air long after the sun has gone down.

Once established, it quickly covers fences, arches, obelisks or walls, yet it's easy to train and keep in shape. It's not wild or untidy, just vigorous enough to make a statement. Flowering starts in early summer and continues right through until the first frosts. That means you're getting several months of colour, scent and garden interest from a single plant.

Anthony's Rose works especially well in sunny, sheltered spots where it can stretch out and catch the light. Train it up a wall near a seating area or over an archway and you'll enjoy every bloom and breath of fragrance it gives you.

Supplied as an established, freshly potted plant in a 4 litre pot, ready to plant.

We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring. Please, make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
