A climbing rose of meaning, generosity and enduring beauty. 'Peachtree Rose' is the second, and latest charity rose created through our partnership with the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
Named after Peachtree Road in Atlanta, where Sir Elton John lived for many years, this rose carries deep personal resonance for him, and now it has been lovingly crafted to hold a special place in the hearts of gardeners too.
Following the celebrated launch of The Elton John AIDS Foundation Rose at the 2025 Chelsea Flower Show, 'Peachtree Rose' continues this extraordinary legacy.
'Peachtree Rose' is a vigorous climbing rose with powerful growth and a long flowering season, producing wave after wave of semi double blooms of 10 petals from June to November. Each flower opens in shades of purple and lilac pink, revealing a warm yellow centre that acts as a magnet for pollinating insects.
When mature, the sheer volume of blooms creates an uplifting fragrance with gentle notes of liquorice and clove.
Strong, easy to train stems, lush mid green foliage and minimal thorns make this climber a pleasure to grow. Once established, it becomes a spectacular feature on walls, fences, obelisks and pergolas, giving height, colour and sentiment in equal measure.
For every plant sold, £5.00 is donated to the Elton John AIDS Foundation (registered charity number 1017336), supporting vital work in the UK and worldwide. It is a plant that offers beauty, impact and contribution in equal measure.
Supplied as a freshly potted, established rose in a 4 litre pot, ready to plant.
