Description

The delightful ‘Dr. Susan Michaelis’ rose simply exudes magnificence. The classic Hybrid Tea rose blooms with more than 40 unfurling petals, which develop into a beautiful picture of deep cerise pink, with flecks of silvery white.

Contrasting well against dense and dark green glossy foliage, the flowers continue to look vibrant even when they start to fade, as the pink deepens to purple. Not just a treat for the eyes, this variety gives off a spicy perfume, which only intensifies as the summer evenings warm up.

Supplied as a freshly potted, established rose in a 4 litre pot, ready to plant.

We are proud to provide this rose, which is named after the former airline pilot Dr. Susan Michaelis, who set up the ‘Lobular Moon Shot Project’ to raise awareness of Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer, which she was diagnosed with in 2013. £2.50p from the sale of each Dr. Susan Michaelis Rose will be paid to Manchester Breast Centre to support their lobular breast cancer (ILC) research fund.

We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring. Please, make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
