George's Rose gets noticed! Blooms open golden amber and carry a clean red eye at the centre of each petal. A ring of yellow stamens lights up the middle, giving the flower a crisp, high contrast look that feels almost hand painted.
With around 10 to 15 petals, pollinators can feed easily, so the plant brings wildlife value as well as showy colour. George's Rose repeat flowers from June through autumn, and deadheading keeps the display coming.
The plant grows into a strong, compact bush to around 100cm tall, clothed in healthy mid green foliage. Use it in mixed borders, plant a line for a low flowering hedge, or grow it in a large patio pot when space is limited.
Supplied as a freshly potted, established rose in a 4 litre pot, ready to plant.
We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring. Please, make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
