Description

Rose 'Guinée' - the iconic crimson climbing rose with heritage, fragrance and a rich depth of colour.

Introduced in the 1930s and cherished ever since, this is a classic among climbing roses, admired for its exceptional depth of colour, bold fragrance, and vigorous habit.

Each bloom opens from incredibly dark red buds, forming large, double, velvety flowers of deepest crimson - truly the darkest red roses you will see on a climber. Their rich perfume fills the air with a traditional, heady rose scent.

As a climber, 'Guinée' boasts long, flexible stems that can be trained against walls, fences, pergolas or arches, reaching heights of up to 5 metres. The glossy green foliage provides a handsome backdrop for its blooms, and with regular deadheading, flowering continues through the summer months into early autumn.

Supplied as a freshly potted, established rose in a 4 litre pot, ready to plant.
